Heavenly Father, I ask you to forgive me for all of my sins, iniquities, trespasses, and transgressions that I have committed by thought, word, or action. Forgive me for any unforgiveness in my heart and unbelief. I repent for grumbling, complaining, and having a whining attitude. I’m sorry that I placed other gods before You, like money, electronics, careers, family, and anything that I give more attention to than You.
Forgive me for taking Your Name in vain, gossiping, and for not loving You with all my heart, strength, mind, and soul. Forgive me for not loving my neighbors as myself; for willful and intentional sins, jealousy, greed, hatred; and sins of omission, which are out of character for a child of God.
Have mercy on me, and blot out all my transgressions, wash me thoroughly from my iniquities, and cleanse me from my sins.
When I sin, I’m sinning against You, O Lord. Forgive me and wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. I’m not just asking for forgiveness for myself, but also for my family, and for those on my prayer list, as well as for those whom You have called me to intercede for in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
