His Plan, His Way

For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jere. 29:11 NIV).

Perhaps you’ve sat down and thought about how to plan your way to success. But have you thought about making all things work together for your good when things don’t go as planned?

God’s plan is to prosper us and to give us goodly success. Most of us know that His plans never fail. That’s because He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we can ask or think; (Eph. 3:20). He is the Creator, the Maker, and the Designer of everything that exists. With God, there aren’t any time restraints or limitations. He orchestrates every situation that pertains to life.

Unfortunately, every plan is not God-approved. So how can you make all things good for yourself using limited human strategies? Did you count the cost? If not, you should, because there’s a high price to pay when we fail.

You see, we have an adversary whose primary mission is to ensure that our plans fail, and he’s mastered the art of deception. Anything that affects you possibly affects others, as well. So you have to actually account for everyone who is even remotely connected to you?

Thankfully, the Bible gives us many precious promises; Romans 8:28 is a perfect example of this statement. “God is able to make all things work together for the good of those who love him and who are the called according to his purpose,” I call this a fail-safe promise because you can’t go wrong. You see, either way, if it’s good, it good; and if it’s bad, it’s good. What the enemy meant for evil, God is able to make it work for our good. It’s a win-win situation when God is involved.

He has a million different ways to accomplish a single feat. He has already predestined a good plan for your future, not only for you but also for everyone connected to you. God has promised that everyone connected to you will benefit from your blessings. Every need, whatever you lack, has already been filtered into every aspect of your life. The broken areas of your life will be mended, and the crooked places made straight. God’s plan is to prosper you and give you an expected end.

Can your plan accomplish more than this? So, why not trust His plan?

There’s only one necessary requirement for God’s plan… “FAITH!” Faith the size of a mustard seed is adequate. This is a recipe for goodly success. You may have your plans, but the Lord will have his way.

Wisdom Word of the Day:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight; (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Blessings to you, my friends!

  2. One of my favorite verses, “God KNOWS the plans He has for you.“ Jeremiah 29:11 given to me from when I first began to walk with Jesus so many years ago. I have had to walk through so many different seasons in my life like so many others and have experienced this TRUTH from God’s WORD. I have learned and trust that Father God knows best. Th you for sharing this encouraging post. Blessings! ✝️🙌🏻
