Scripture: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts; (Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV).

God’s standards are not the standards of this world. There is a great distance between God’s thoughts and His ways. His thoughts are higher and his ways are unsearchable.

Where is the wise person, the lawyer, the philosopher?

God, the Ancient of Days, chose ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary feats. When publishing the Gospel message, He did not use philosophers, men of wealth, or men of power. Being the Only Wise God, He chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; and the weak things of the world to shame the strong (1st Corinthians 1:27 NKJV; Romans 16:27 ).

The lowliest of men were used to confound the wise and what seemed foolish to man became the wisdom of the world. These are the strangest of events that confuse the minds of simple men. It’s utter confusion for those who sit in high places to see the lowest class of citizens in life as kings and priests unto God (1 Pet. 2:9; Rev. 1:6). It pleases Him when the unsaved hear the Gospel and believe. However, the world’s system is against these standards.

THE KINGDOM OF LIGHT VS THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS

The Kingdom of God and satan’s kingdom are as opposite as day is to night, and as light is to darkness. These two kingdoms oppose one another because God is the Sovereign Ruler over all, and He rules with power and authority. The wisdom of this world is foolishness to God; (1st Corinthians 3:19).

As our Sovereign Creator, God maneuvers every aspect of life pertaining to people, government, and all affairs. Therefore, all created beings are subject to His authority, and as Christians, our first position is in Christ.

After we’re born into the world, the flesh (man’s nature) begins to rule. This happens because we live in a fallen world, and sin is our nature. We take on the very nature of Adam after the fall. We naturally inherited his sin nature which is the consequence of the sin that he committed against God. Adam rebelled against God’s will, and the entire universe has been affected.  It was the single act of one man, Adam, that God passed down a sentence for his disobedience. Now sin reigns in man’s mortal body.

We’re currently in a time where every man does what seems right in his eyes for a lack of Biblical knowledge. All because they don’t know God. Tests and trials are currently taking place revealing the sons of God. Those who are prepared will walk after the dictates of the Holy Spirit. Those who lack knowledge will follow the world and its ways. Deception is inevitable for those who walk after the dictates of the flesh. It’s a fact that darkness cannot overcome light however light can overcome darkness. Light exposes the dark deeds of the world. And exposes the fact that the kingdom of darkness is actual the upside-down kingdom.

“We often think that the physical world is the most realistic that exists since we can see, touch, and perceive. However, there is another world more real than the physical world: the spiritual world. This world, like the physical one, is governed by rules, laws, and regulations.”

Kingdom Citizens are subjected to rules, and not following the code of rules and laws that govern that nation automatically constitutes a violation, civil disobedience. However, if the laws have a negative effect, we must proceed with caution. Don’t wait for the world to save you from your troubles. You have to possess your future regardless of where you live or what you’re going through. You are the light of the world a city built on a hill for all men to see.
