God Speaks Through His Word

Scripture: For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you, ‘ says the LORD, ‘ plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, but to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you. Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart; (Jeremiah 29:11-13 Amp.).

Do you sometimes feel as though God doesn’t hear your prayers? Not sure whether He’s with you or not? Well, get your Bible, sit down, and begin reading. That’s God’s voice speaking to you through His Word. When God speaks to His people, He uses the Holy Spirit or His written word. He speaks to us through our spirit, not our minds.

The Bible is your daily compass. It contains a solution for every dilemma that life has to offer. If you need directions for your life or just for the day, the Word of God will guide you. You can find the path for your life by reading and studying God’s Word; (Ps. 119:105).

Meditating on God’s word refreshes us spiritually. If you’re seeking a place of peace, while you’re reading or praying, God will speak peace to your soul. By immersing ourselves in the Word, we can protect ourselves from being forced into the world’s ways.

Wisdom and knowledge await you between the pages. The Bible speaks ever so clearly to your spirit each time you open it and begin reading. Make a habit of delving deeper into God’s Word by searching for answers to the questions that you may have. Partake of God’s daily bread until you feel full and satisfied. If you’re seeking God, there’s no better place to find Him than within the pages of the Bible. Seek the face of God, and you will find Him. He’s not far; he’s closer than you know!

Prayer: Father, I love to start my mornings speaking with You, followed by studying your word. Thank You for inviting me to fellowship with You daily. I pray that You will give me a thirst to want more of your Word.  I desire to follow the leading and prompting of your Holy Spirit. Give me the agility to discern godly wisdom and how to apply it efficiently. With You, I know I will travel the righteous path. Father, thank you for clear directions by Your Holy Spirit and for keeping my foot from stumbling. My plan is to be obedient to Your will, that I may have the victory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

*During your study time, add these two Scriptures to your list, Psalm 62:11 and Psalm 91
