“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they?” (Matthew 6:26 KJV).
According to the above Scripture, Jesus tells us that the birds of the air do not sow or reap, nor do they gather food in barns. Why not? Because God takes care of them. For this reason, every morning, bright and early, birds are perched on branches outside of our windows, tweeting a sweet melody. This lets us know that it’s a new day, filled with the beauty of nature that God designed specifically with us in mind.
Many of us fail to realize that the birds are singing because they enjoy the beauty surrounding them. The trees, warmth of the sun, sweet scent of flowers, and worms are all supplied by God. So, why do we fail to see the provisions are already in place?
According to our clocks and what some of us call “noise,” some people are not happy about hearing the beautiful tweets of singing birds. Especially on early Sunday mornings, which are for sleeping in, and those noisy birds need to be quiet. They fail to realize that God has put a melody in their hearts.
There will come a day when every activity under the sun will cease. We’re going to miss the sound of chirping birds at the rising of the sun. His mercies are new every morning, His loving kindness never ceases, and His grace is amazing; (Lam. 3:23). All of creation sings to the Lord. He gives us joy and strengthens us; (Ps. 96:1; Neh. 8:10). All praises belong to God. We worship and adore You. It’s a blessing that God called His heavenly birds to serenade us. What can be better than waking up to the sound of all the pretty birds singing unto the Lord?
They are perched on a branch near my bedroom window, unconcerned about the next meal. As a mother bird feeds her little ones, the same is true of Almighty God, as the “Breasted One.” He is faithful to meet our needs; (Ps. 23:1). We should never worry about tomorrow because God is already there. He goes before us and behind us. He is always with us and will never leave us or forget us. For these reasons that I’m thankful for the birds!

Your writing brings me so much joy! I started following you about a year ago and I am so grateful that God connected us. Please continue to be obedient to God and helpIng translate his holy word In a way that is sweet music to our ears & a blessing to our soul.
My Mom & I both were diagnosed with Cancer within 2 months of each other this year. What a blow!! My Mom continues to remind me that every burden brings a blessing, and God will never stop being God!
Thanks for being in inspiration prior to and during this difficult time for both of us. I remember reading a piece you wrote maybe last year about silencing the flesh and I have pulled on that quite a bit.
Take care & maybe we will meet one day!

Glory and honor to God, for He, is Great!
Greetings Kiva,
Thank you for your comment. It blesses me to know that you are growing spiritually. That is my ministry goal.
I am sorry to read of the battle that you and your mom are currently facing. I will include you both in my daily prayers. I agree with your mom, “God will always be God”; and I must say that the battle belongs to the Lord. There is nothing too hard or impossible for God. He is able to cure all diseases. Trust Him as Healer. The victory belongs to Jesus!
Blessing of my love to you!
