Happy Resurrection Sunday Friends!
Very early on Sunday morning, before sunrise, Mary Magdalene arrived at the tomb, broken and sobbing. She stopped to look inside the tomb, and she saw two angels in dazzling white robes. They were sitting where Jesus’ body laid, one sat at the head and the other sat at his feet, this was symbolic of the Ark of the Covenant.
“Dear woman why are you crying?” they asked. Mary answered, “They have taken away my Lord, and I don’t know where they’ve laid him”. Then she turned around to leave and there was Jesus standing in front of her, but she didn’t recognize Him.
Jesus interrupted her, “Mary.” She turned to him, and she said, “Rabboni!” (My Teacher.) Jesus cautioned her, “Mary, don’t hold on to me now, for I haven’t yet ascended to God, my Father. And He not only my Father and God, but now he’s your Father and your God!”
On this Resurrection Sunday, we honor our sinless Savior. Because of His great love for us, Christ chose the nails. At the Cross, Jesus exchanged His righteousness for our sins. While we were dead in our trespasses Christ died for us. He paid what we owed. The love Jesus has for us goes far beyond all knowledge. Enjoy the Lord’s blessings today!

He died and was resurrected so that our sins would be forgiven…what greater love is there?
