God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelite’s: I AM has sent me to you”; (Ex. 3:14).
Tell them I AM sent me unto you. I AM, assumed as a name, implies an existence different from other existence, “I AM” and there is none beside me”; (Isa. 45:6). God existed before time and He exists independently and unconditionally. When He identified Himself, He stated that no matter when, or where, there is no place that He isn’t there. God is the Alpha and the Omega, the LORD God, who is and was and is to come, the Almighty; (Rev. 1:8). Only God can accurately describe Himself.
THE REDEMPTIVE NAMES OF GOD
JEHOVAH/YAHWEH – “I AM WHO I AM” or “I WILL BE WHO I WILL BE”; (EX. 3:14).
YAHWEH is usually translated “LORD”.
Jehovah-jireh “The LORD Will Provide”; (Gen 22:14).
Jehovah-nissi – “The LORD is my Banner”; (Ex. 17:15).
Jehovah-shalom – “The LORD is Peace”; (Judg. 6:24).
Jehovah-shammah – “The LORD is There”; (Ezek. 48/35).
Jehovah-tseboath – “The LORD of Hosts”; (1 Sam. 1:3).
Jehovah Elohe Yisrael – “The LORD God of Israel”; (1 Sam. 15:29).
El – refers to a god in the most general sense. In the Bible the word is often defined properly by a qualifier like Jehovah: “I, the LORD (Jehovah) your God (Elohim), am a jealous God (El)”; Deut. 5:9).
Elohim – Elohim is the plural form of El, but it’s usually translated in the singular. Elohim conveys the idea that the one supreme being, who is the only true God, is in some sense plural. There are several other important names that identify Him as Branch, King, Wisdom, Shepherd, and Servant. The Bible identifies Jesus as God; (John 1:1-5).

EL, ELOAH [el, el-oh-ah]: God “mighty, strong, prominent”; (Neh. 9:17; Ps. 139:19). El means power.
ELOHIM GOD [el-oh-heem]: “Creator, Mighty and Strong”; (Gen. 17:7; Jere. 31:33).
EL SHADDAI [el-shah-dahy]: “God Almighty,” “The Mighty One of Jacob”; (Gen. 49:24; Ps. 132:2,5). God’s ultimate power over all.
ADONAI [ˌædɒˈnaɪ; ah-daw-nahy]: “Lord” used in place of YHWH; (Gen. 15:2; Judg. 6:15).
YHWH / YAHWEH / JEHOVAH [yah-way / ji-hoh-veh]: “LORD” (in all caps.); (Deut. 6:4; Dan. 9:14). I AM WHO I AM; (Ex. 3:14).
YAHWEH JIREH [yah-way-ji-reh]: “The Lord Will Provide”; (Gen. 22:14).
YAHWEH RAPHA [yah-way-raw-faw]: “The Lord Who Heals”; (Ex. 15:26). “I am Jehovah who heals you” both in body and soul. In body, by preserving from and curing diseases, and in soul, by pardoning iniquities.
YAHWEH NISSI [yah-way-nee-see]: “The Lord Our Banner”; (Ex. 17:15).
YAHWEH-M’KADDESH [yah-way-meh-kad-esh]: “The Lord Who Sanctifies, Makes Holy”; (Lev. 20:8; Ezek. 37:28).

Unjust Judgment
Meanwhile, Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews? “You have said so, Jesus replied. When he was accused by the chief priest and the elders, he gave no answer. Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you? So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers ad some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns, and weapons. Jesus Knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, “Who is it you want?” “Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “I am he,” Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.) When Jesus said, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground; (John 18:3-5).
