Love Your Life and Live to Give

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” [1st Thess. 5:18].

In this season of Thanksgiving, I’ve decided to give more. More love, more compassion, more of time, more patience, kindness, and joy.

Time is everything regarding seasonal changes. Winter seasons are cold and dry during these times, and nothing seems to grow. Most things are dormant because of the temperature of the ground, and seeds aren’t planted during winter seasons. However, we can sow spiritual seeds into someone’s life.

During the winter seasons, our brothers and sisters need love, more compassion, kindness, and patience. When facing temptation through test and trials the winter season can be very harsh. We don’t know the challenges someone else is facing or what battles they may be going through. We can encourage them by showing them the love that Christ shed freely upon us.

Currently, this world is dark and cold, we are called to be the light to illuminate this dark world. We are needed for this reason, especially for this season. In what looks like a loveless world, our love overcomes hate and light dispels darkness. By sharing the Lord’s joy we can provide strength to others in the midst of their weakness. We can do all things through Christ Who is our strength.

Let’s love on others the way that Christ lavishes His love on us. Love is the perfect gift that keeps on giving. Kind words are like honey-sweet to the soul and health for the body; (Prov. 16:24). God’s love is everlasting, it never runs out, and His mercy endures forever. Thank You, God for every blessing and for your Amazing Grace!

May love and peace dwell in your heart and your homes.

With Love,
