Commit your way to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established; (Prov. 16:3).
In the Hebrew vernacular the word “Commit” means “to roll.” The idea is to offer everything we do completely to the Lord. Our hopes, dreams, and our desires are placed in His hands. Our will must align with His will. We have to make the decisions to do the first part, and God will fulfill the second part of the promise.
The promise is conditional, “If” you commit your ways to the Lord, He promised that He will establish your thoughts.
How is this done? By seeking Him and depending on Him to establish our footing, and He will cause our daily plans to come to fruition. We can expect God’s blessings after we have placed our trust in Him. He blesses our footsteps and causes us to prosper and succeed.
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart”; Jere. 29:13.
Blessed is the man who God grants favor. He bestows upon Him a fresh supply of grace and everything needful to succeed. Those who seek Him in Christ, who is the only way to the Father, are spiritually blessed. Draw near to God with a sincere heart and take delight in Him, and your way will be firmly established. God is always pleased with a display of faith.
Blessings of love, joy and peace to you!
