Laughter For The Heart

A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones (Prov. 17:22 Amp. Bible).

Have you been feeling uptight or frustrated lately? Is there an uneasy feeling nagging inside of you, but you just can’t seem to put your finger on what’s going on with you? Well, the Bible has a remedy that’s approved for every ailment that the body may be experiencing and in this case, those uneasy feelings may be nothing short of what a good ole’ hearty laugh can cure.

We all have what I refer to as “Off Days, ” that’s a day when you feel as though something strange is happening with you, but you just can’t seem to pinpoint what’s going on. You’re having an “Off Day!”

Well, here’s a simple remedy that will take away those awkward feelings. All you need is a spiritual dose of the Holy Ghost! I always turn to my Bible and find a Scripture that will help me settle my fickle feelings. That’s how I’m able to get my joy back.

“The joy of the Lord is my strength”; (Neh. 8:10).  And “A merry heart does good like medicine”; (Prov. 17:22).

Ah-ha! Having joy is connected to the heart! It’s a heart issue! I discovered that my uneasy feelings were just a heaviness of heart, and a good dose of laughter is definitely the cure. A good hearty laugh causes the whole body to relax. It also relieves physical tension, stress, and pain, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 min.

Having a good sense of humor, a positive attitude, and a hearty laugh makes people feel better in spite of those odd inward feelings we experience at times. I recommend that you loosen your collar, sit back and unwind. Relax, take a load off and open your Bible. It’s filled with wisdom, revelational knowledge, and insightful information. There are different versions and references available to aid and equip you in your daily studies. The information between the pages are invaluable!

So, my advise you to take this information and live by it. Never let ill feelings get the best of you. Open your Bible and call on Dr. Jesus for whatever is ailing you. He’s on-call 24/7.

“Have a good laugh as often as you can!”
