He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings you will find refuge; (Ps. 91:4a).
God Almighty is our only true source of security and protection. Those who place their faith and trust in Him, find that He is more than enough to meet their every need. He covers and shields us from injury. He guards and defends us from the enemies’ attempts to harm and destroy us. He’s a strong tower at the time of need.
As we place our trust in God, we can be confident in knowing that He fights our battles. He protects us as an eyelid safely protects the pupil of an eye. God safely hide us under the shadow of His wings, and He covers us with His feathers where there’s quiet rest and peace.
May your soul find comfort in the promises of God’s shadow of protection. He is a Mighty Warrior, who has never lost a battle, and He never will. No foe can withstand our Holy King.
Be merciful to us O’ God, bless us and keep us safe all the days of our lives. We will honor you and glorify Your Name forever. Amen.
