Scripture: Pray Continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus; (1 Thess. 5:17 NIV).
Prayer in essence is the continual dependency upon communion with God our Father. Persistent, incessant, unceasing prayer is an essential part of the Christian life and should flow out of humility and dependency upon God. Prayer should be as natural as breathing. 1 Thess. 5:17 teaches us that we are to pray without ceasing. This means that we are to be conscious of God at all times. We should be aware that He is with us and that he is active in our lives. Prayer should be our first response to every anxious thought or fearful situation. Prayer opens the door for God to work.
Scripture teaches that prayers are answered, and there is plenty of evidence of that fact (John 14:13-14). Having faith is the prerequisite and the priority to answering prayer. For he who comes to God must believe that He is. Therefore, faith is a necessary condition. Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Heb.11:6).
“The prayers of a righteous man is powerful and effective” (James 5:16b)
Effectual prayers are prayed from the heart and make tremendous power available. There are countless testimonies given by people who prayed and have experienced miracles. Many have been healed from sickness or disease. Relationships and marriages have been restored, souls have been saved, millions of hungry people fed, bills paid, and the dead raised to life. Prayer works; it changes things and rearranges things. Never doubt the power of prayer.
I have a testimony about a good friend who I met on social media. She has a husband and five children, 4 daughters, and a son to be exact. My friend had a brain tumor that required surgery. The alert went out across social media that she was having brain surgery. The majority of us joined in prayer for her. Many replied, “We’re praying for you” or “we love you, and we’re praying.” The responses were outstanding!
She had brain surgery, and her family was there with her. They were prayerful and hopeful that the surgery would be successful. Well, our prayers were answered the surgery was successful! So successful that right away pictures were posted on social media of her in her hospital bed wearing a small bandage on her head and a huge smile on her face. “Praise God! She made it through!”
That was great news, but the best news came the next morning. She is being released from the hospital! The next day after having brain surgery! This is a miracle! An act of God! For who goes home after brain surgery the next day?!?! But all things are possible with God. Miracles happen every day!
Prayer gives us access to Almighty God. He invites us to pray. He hears the prayers of His children, and He is faithful to answer our prayers; (Ps. 34:17). This is the confidence that we have in approaching Him; if we ask anything according to His will, he hears us (1 John 5:14). According to His perfect will and in His timing. He’s never early or late, He’s always on time. So, I beseech you, never doubt God, nor the power of prayer!
Blessings of my love to you!

Gracious and Eternal Father God, I come before You with a fervent prayer request today. Waigeno.Waira admits to being far from You, and is unhappy with the currently living conditions. Father God, You are Omniscient and You know what every person has need of. Only You are able to change things, personal or private matters as it pertains to life. Draw Waigeno.Waira close to you and away from every hindrance that has a hold on their life. You are the only hope, show Yourself strong and in a mighty way. Whatever the need God You are able to supply. Bless Waigeno.Waira with the desire of the their heart. Thank You Dear Father. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
