It’s Time To Fly!

Soar On Wings Like EaglesScripture: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint (Isa. 40:31).

Birds fly in flocks, but eagles soar. Eagles are free and they are confident to fly alone, they don’t follow the flock. They fly high and they go deep. They have the keenest eye sight of all bird. The higher the eagle flies, the sharper his vision becomes. He can see over a two mile radius. He sets his eyes on his prey and he does not lose sight of it. His focus is set and he goes after his prey.

Like the eagle, we need to come up higher. You cannot go higher unless you go deeper. You must be strong in order to fly high. A fully grown eagle is not afraid of a storm, he flies above it. We too must learn to fly above our storms and not run from them. We soar over our storms by focusing on Jesus. Fix your eyes on Jesus, He is the Living Word. We have the privilege to see beyond the natural. Learn to look through spiritual eyes and change your focus.

The lifestyle of an eagle is his behavior. The eagle has tremendous commitment. The eagle does not get distracted. He is disciplined. As Christians we need to be more committed behavioral wise. Commitment gives us discipline. There is safety in commitment. There is restoration when we seek God. When we are in God’s presence we are made strong. Our attitudes are renewed. We then can mount up on wings like eagles, run and not get weary, walk and not faint. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. While waiting upon the Lord we should have a positive attitude. We should expect God to show up in our time of need. We should also have our  faith and our trust in Him. The key to victory is consistency. God is pushing you out of your comfortable nest. Believe God for the victory. It’s time for you to fly!

Soar high and go deep!
