Speak Blessings

Speak BlessingsGive, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again; (Luke 6:38 KJV).

Sow a seed and reap a harvest. This law works in the physical realm as well as in the spiritual realm. It will also produce positive gestures as well as negative ones. Good things can be sown as well as evil. When we give liberally out of our substance to those in need, according to our abilities, it shall be returned, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. We receive portions to the same measure that we give.

What the mouth commonly speaks generally agrees with the heart. Sowing negative words will reap a negative harvest. Sowing positive seeds will reap a good harvest. Spiritually speaking, we generally refer to this as producing good fruit or evil fruit. Speaking God’s Word produces a fruitful harvest, whether you’re speaking into a person’s life or your own. When we speak well of others, we are sowing seeds of blessings. Don’t sow seeds of discord or give to others begrudgingly. But give out of a generous heart and with a loving hand, expect nothing in return from the receiver. Avoid sowing evil and do good unto others. Bless them and do not curse them; speak well of them.

Do not judge others, or you, too, will be judged. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. When we are of a giving and forgiving spirit, likewise, you shall receive that same.

The Promises of God

  1. He who gives to the poor lends to the Lord (Proverb 19:17).
  2. He who has a bountiful eye shall be blessed (Proverb 22:9).
  3. Cast your bread on the waters, for you shall find it after many days (Ecclesiastes 11:1-2).
  4. He who sows sparingly shall reap sparingly (2nd Corinthians 9:6-8).
  5. He watches over His word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).

God is our only source for our every need. He uses His people to do good deeds here on earth. We are stewards over what we have received from God. Giving from our harvest honors God (Prov.3:9-10). Sowing generously opens the door to His abundant blessings in our lives. Allow God to demonstrate His love to others through using your hands and loving heart. Love your life and live to give.

Much love and many blessings to you!
