Love Your Life and Live to Give

Speak BlessingsSCRIPTURE: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again; (Luke 6:38 KJV).

Sow a seed and reap a harvest. This law works in the physical realm as well as in the spiritual realm. It will also produce on positive gestures as well as negative ones. Good things can be sown as well as evil. When we give liberally out of our substance to those in need, according to our abilities, it shall be returned, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. We receive portions to the same measure that we give.

What the mouth commonly speaks, generally agrees with the heart. Sowing negative words will reap a negative harvest. Sowing positive seed will reap a good harvest. Spiritually speaking, we generally referred to this as producing good fruit or evil fruit. When we speak God’s Word a fruitful harvest is produced, whether you’re speaking into somebody’s life or your own. When we speak well of others we are sowing seeds of blessings. Don’t sow seeds of discord or give to others begrudgingly. But give out of a generous heart and with a loving hand, expect nothing in return from the receiver. Avoid sowing evil and do good unto others. Bless them and do not curse them, speak well of them.

Do not judge others or you too will be judged. Forgive and you will be forgiven. When we are of a giving and forgiving spirit, likewise, you shall receive that same. He who gives to the poor lends to the Lord (Prov. 19:17). He who has a bountiful eye shall be blessed (Prov. 22:9). Cast your bread on the waters, for you shall find it after many days (Eccl. 11:1-2). He who sows sparingly shall reap sparingly (2nd Cor. 9:6-8). These are all promises from God. He watches over His word to perform it.

God is our only source for our every need. He uses His people to do good deeds here on the earth. We are stewards over what we have received from God. Giving from our harvest honors God (Prov.3:9-10). Sowing generously opens the door to His abundant blessings in our lives. Allow God to demonstrate His love to others through using your hands and loving heart. Love your life and live to give.

Much love and many blessings to you!
